Established in 2003, this stylish business offers a unique service in designing and making hats to compliment you and your outfit. We also stock an exciting range of hats to hire or buy, and now also offering a range of designs for the bride as an alternative to the traditional veils and tiaras.

We are well aware that people don’t always feel comfortable in hats but often ‘when the occasion demands it’ a hat should be worn.

We offer a bespoke service in the privacy of light & spacious studios where we can match your outfit and ideas together; using photos & sketches we look at your outfit, face shape, colouring and, most importantly, your own style. We are also able to work with your dressmaker, or supplier to ensure a perfect match to your outfit.

With such a wide variety of colours and styles available today, any hat can be designed and tailor-made to suit you and your outfit so that you feel appropriately hatted for any occasion, and of course, we like to have fun doing it!

Pricing starts at £25 to hire, £35 + for fascinators, £65+ for mini or cocktail hats and £150+ for brimmed styles.

Lisa Burrows is an experienced milliner of many years, having trained with a milliner of 50 years experience in Bristol, and at St Martins College in London. She also teaches millinery classes. Lisa’s previous millinery business ‘Headstrong’ was featured on the BBC’s Clothes Show and supplied her unique & fashionable designs to shops nationwide.

Conveniently located in the centre of Taunton, in beautiful Somerset; Opening times are generally 10am – 5pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, and 10:00 – 1:00 Saturday, but please call to arrange an appointment at any other time.
